Williamstown Theatre Festival

Website design, development, and digital product strategy for the Berkshires summer theatre festival boldly reinventing its 70-year legacy on the stage.

Brief

Design and build a website for Williamstown Theatre Festival that serves as a flagship experience for an all-new brand, a reinvented ticketing model, and year-round content for theatre-goers old and new.

Solution

We worked with the WTF team to design and build the website from the ground up, and support efforts to focus on the future of what the festival has to offer beyond its legacy of 70 years on stage.

To support its unique business model, we created a bespoke ticketing experience that features custom attendance schedules. We designed highly flexible content features fully integrated with Ghost to support WTF’s new editorial and email platform.

As part of a multi-phase rollout, we also designed and launched an initial microsite, celebrating the new brand identity by Pentagram and announcing key flagship programing months before the full website launch.
